Starting in June 2021, Pandemic Home Video Nights have an added feature. We have invited some folks who are prominent social justice activists in their communities to deliver opening remarks and help facilitate our movie discussions as our last round of online screenings begins.

For the duration of social distancing protocols in British Columbia, Los Altos Institute’s Prince George and Vancouver movie groups have been amalgamated. The amalgamated group is chaired by Michael Demers. Each screening begins on a Friday at 7:00pm Pacific Time and begins with a set of introductory remarks, after which members watch their copy of the film, provided gratis by the Institute. A discussion then takes place shortly after members have had a chance to watch the film, sometime between 9 and 10pm, at a time set by the chair. Here are the films we have viewed so far:
